Limit face washing to twice per day, morning and night with a gentle cleanser lathered into skin with warm water. After 30 seconds, rinse off with cold water to close pores and gently pat face dry with towel. Avoid harsh cleansers, hot water, or over scrubbing, as these can actually worsen acne.
